Problem Running Eclipse in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala

After upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10, Eclipse started to behave strangely. Button seams to be non-responsive, so I googled for a solution and came up with this link.

Hi,

Already , i have done some basic level log4j implementation in myapp.

Currently , i want to use "Using a Syslog appender in log4j"" . but i have no
idea that Why use Syslog.

Why use syslog with log4j ?
is Syslog has additional benefit ?

Hi Samdani,

The reason for using Syslog is to centralized logs and send logs from several log sources, e.g. Tomcats, JBoss, apache http, etc.

And it can also be performance. Network speed has developed a lot, but disks not. So sending logs over network can perform better than local disks.
